We are very pleased to announce the debut of Cologne-based Korean artist Joreng Boi on hundert records.

“Closed Circle” is a brilliant, electronica journey, originally created for a theater piece. Joreng Boi compiled these six pieces now for hundert where it discovers the minimalist ambient genre for itself, combining field recordings with extended melodic synthesizer explorations.

As the first single, we present "The Hat". The piece is a beautiful, floating but above all pure meditative ambient bliss that encapsulates the sound of Joreng Boi. It manages to combine catchy delightful melodies with slowy drifting Ambient Pads that feel never long-winded.

“Closed Circle” will come out on June 14th.
